I’m Kushagra Sanwal — an economics student at NMIMS Mumbai (graduating 2027), currently doing deal work at Lead Invest, a CAT-1 AIF angel fund in Mumbai.

Day to day, I work on investment memos, due diligence, and startup evaluation. I’ve looked at companies across fintech, D2C, B2B SaaS, deep tech, and agri. Before this, I was an NDA cadet for about nine months before a medical exit.

Long term, I’m aiming for IB, PE, or tier-1 VC — then an MBA. Eventually, a VC partner track.

Outside work: I run. Completed the Tata Mumbai Marathon half-marathon in 2:35 and building towards sub-2hr by the end of this year. Also doing CFA L1 prep.
